About Lulwa
When I was nine, my grandmother told me the story of The Three Oxen who lived in harmony. Together they were too strong for the wily fox, so he divided them to conquer, and ate one by one, the white, the brown, and then when he came for the black ox, the black ox cried: “I was killed the day the white ox was killed.”
Then, in bits and pieces, she also told me the story of her life, of a massacre, three wars, food coupons, six countries, and how she survived to become a published playwright and an educator to thousands of youth. Every time she concluded with: “May God make us victorious by bringing us back together!”
I lived in stories, of times past, of a place made of magic and memories. The belief that commUNITY, inspired action, and place hold the keys to our dignity and vitality was baked into me.

For 17+ years I have dedicated my life to building communities of purpose around the globe. I brought together government, businesses, financiers, youth and community-based organizations to envision and create powerful initiatives around the world, like:

building a humanitarian development network that spans 10 countries,

powering villages with solar energy,

supplying towns with clean water,
-
creating agri-tourism and adventure tourism destination locations around the Middle East, servicing tens of thousands of individuals each year.
And I LOVED IT! I thought this is IT, at least the “IT” that I can influence.
Until, it wasn’t…
ALL within the span of a little over a year.
Just like that, everything I thought was “there”, wasn’t, and I was completely lost. My access to my inner reservoirs of power likewise lost.

I moved continents,

I ended a marriage,
-
I lost my homebase, my friends & family, my routine and the whole ecosystem I’ve built around me to support me,

I got fired,
-
I spent my life savings,
I had never viscerally felt the immense power and restorative healing present in no-thing. I did not know that it is the place where I am MOST ALIVE!
I was displaced.
Because I did not know myself, not really.
I had misplaced my sense of self in things and achievements, in position and praise. My worth was all tied up in the world and when my world dissolved, I was unwell.
For I had never spent the time to build a deep in-dwelling sense of place within myself.
I had never viscerally felt the immense power and restorative healing present in no-thing. I did not know that it is the place where I am MOST ALIVE!
And never had I felt, with my whole body and being, the hand of God move into my life.
To chip away at all that I am not.
And bring to life the I AM.
That can move with faith, grace and power when faced with unthinkable challenges and uncertainty.
The I AM that senses commUNITY, in the unity of us all, and is reminded by it when I pass you by and look into your eyes as our paths cross on the sidewalk.
Until I found Lineage.
Until I found the Modern Mystery School.
I am an adept, an initiate, a Life Activation practitioner, a Max Meditation practitioner, a seeker of the LIGHT, and a life-long student of the Modern Mystery School.
